During June our staff photographer, Gabor Vasuta visited several of our regular birding sites in Slovenia and Croatia, which is a great help, since I am very short of good bird pictures from there (I don't like big lenses to carry, especially not on tours). This was his third phototour, and with my instructions he succesfully photographed almost all the wanted species, but Tengmalm's Owl and Ptarmigan. Here is a great selection from his pictures. Beautiful birds and butterflies what we always see on our tours.
