The idea of GreenEye Ecotours was born in 1998, when the big greening of tourism started.

During our early outdoor and scientific trips in Europe, Asia and North Africa we were continously faced with both the value and potential of the new trend - responsible ecotourism. Travels to natural areas that conserves the environment and sustains the well-being of local people.

Having led many expeditions already, we finally decided to offer our service under the name of GreenEye Ecotours as a solution for our personal efforts to share knowledge, enthusiasm, promote nature and rural conservation efforts, and contribute for the zoological exploration of Central and Eastern Europe...

Today we provide outdoor-oriented tours, adventures, expeditions to Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Albania,
but we also offer tours to Egypt and Ethiopia, both being our winter residency.

We are specialised on Birds, Butterflies, Dragonflies, Mammals, Photography and hiking-trekking.

Beyond classic "twitching", all of our wildlife tours having "exploratory"-side, we always spend some time at less known areas or white-spots to try to find rare breeding birds and conservation-needed butterflies and dragonflies.

Now, in our 10th years of operation we can tell, that our goal accomplished.
